Dancer • Choreographer • Legend
Max Nguyen is an athlete, creative and self-taught dancer/choreographer. Raised in Boise, Idaho with strong community roots, Max brings the spirit of community to all of his life endeavors.
Through a combination of hard work, determination, passion and skill, Max has toured as a dancer with professional musicians, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, and Jesse McCartney. He had the unique opportunity to perform at the 2018 Superbowl halftime show, and he has also performed on The Grammys, The NBA All Star Game, The Today Show, and Dancing with the Stars.
Max partnered with Nike on a creative advertising campaign, and he recently developed a give-back program for his hometown community called the Max Pham Heritage Hip-Hop Fund. With the intent to inspire more children to dance, Max’s fund allows youth to participate in dance education at a reduced cost. An amazing human who teaches us the importance hard work, pursuing your passions and making a positive impact on our world, Proud Source Water is proud to call Max a friend.
Q: Why do you feel connected to Proud Source Water?
A: I love Proud Source because each time I catch myself even close to a bottle, I dwell with a sense of pride (pun intended) that I am in some way connected to what this bottle stands for. It makes me proud of where I’m from (Idaho). It challenges me to do better, and more than anything, makes me proud to know the people the run this company!
Q: What makes you proud?
A: Something that makes me proud is that feeling when you get to see the people you love find happiness in passion. Our “purpose” as a people varies so much from person to person, and there’s no better feeling than that of which you feel like you’re doing what you love and are nowhere but in that particular moment.
