Our plants are designed to be low energy and eventually net zero facilities. In Idaho, the plant is located approximately 500ft below the spring. We use a gravity-fed system to bottle our spring water at the source for an energy efficient, sustainable operation. In Florida, our facility is solar powered and completely off the grid. We aspire to net zero energy usage in all facilitate by the end of 2021.
LOCAL IMPACT
As a brand, we started with our local community and how we could create positive impact. From job creation to local community support, impact has become a priority. In addition local impact, we have chosen key partners like 1% for the Planet, The Surfrider Foundation, 5 Gyres, and many other partners to extend our efforts in global impact. We’re proud to prioritize people and planet.
CONSERVE & PROTECT
A key pillar in our brand journey is to conserve and protect our natural sources of water. We pledge to never take more than 5% of the daily output of our sources of water. Additionally, we have a Zero Waste policy with our water. In the water industry, other methods of bottling water can waste up to 75% of the water supply. We believe in zero waste.
Sustainability is not just about having recyclable packaging. At Proud Source Water, sustainability extends into all facets of our brand. Sustainability is the centerpiece of all operations. It defines how we support our communities, conserve our spring sources and create positive impact for our planet. Our goal is to donate $5 Million back to the environment by 2030, and to divert 200 Million single use plastic bottles from landfills and our precious waterways.
